Cost Per Hire & Payback Window

Early Years recruitment in the UK is at a standstill, there are just not enough qualified early years professionals in the UK and with the expansion of the Early Years Government Funded Spaces there in an increasing need to expand the size of the early years workforce.

Continuing to try and hire only from within the UK and keeping back waiting lists of children from enrolling whilst this is done is causing lost opportunities for nurseries by limiting their growth.

Hiring an international educator willing to enrol in a government-funded Early Years Teacher (EYT) postgraduate course can be a game-changer for your preschool and not only unlock the growth opportunities of being able to expand your workforce but earn you money through the government funded incentive programme to upskill staff to EYT status.

This qualification equips them to manage a child-to-staff ratio of 1:13, enhancing the quality of education provided and the numbers of children per staff member. As an employer you’ll receive a £7,000 government funded incentive for enrolling a staff member onto this course. This incentive payment can not only cover cost of hiring and training your new international staff but also provides a surplus of funds remaining to support your nursery’s growth.
